Who We Are

Gold Coast Kids Therapy is a private Paediatric (Kids) allied health practice in Northern Gold Coast, Queensland. Gold Coast Kids Therapy provides Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology and Physiotherapy services to children, who have difficulties that impact their participation in everyday activities.

We provide individual assessment; and individual and group based intervention services from a range of different allied health providers, and support staff including: Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologist, Physiotherapist and Allied Health Assistants.

Many sessions are delivered in the clinic, but services are also sometimes provided in the community including home, daycare/kindy/school, playgrounds, and wherever the child is participating in activities (e.g. dance school, swimming lessons, shopping centre).

Occupational Therapy

How can an Occupational Therapist (OT) help?

A children’s Occupational Therapist (OT) is a therapist who supports children with their “Occupations” or “Jobs” in everyday life i.e. OTs assist children to participate in the activities they are involved in on a daily basis, including the ones they want to do, need to do, or are expected to do by others, but are having difficulty.

Speech Pathology

How can a Speech Pathologist help?

A Speech Pathologist is a therapist who supports people of all ages to express themselves and understand others, as well as supporting them to participate in mealtimes (through supporting the development of feeding skills and/or managing their swallowing ability).

Physiotherapy

How can a physiotherapist help?

Children’s (paediatric) physiotherapists (PTs) can assist children to increase their participation in physical activities, and move their bodies to the best of their abilities. Physiotherapist assist in improving gross motor skills (tasks that involve large muscle groups). Physiotherapists can work with children and their families to assist in improving a child’s balance, co-ordination, strength, agility, flexibility, and the way they move in general (movement patterns).

Our Team

​Our team of therapists all have a passion with working with children and families, to assist children to do their very best. All our therapists hold registration with the relevant registration bodies (e.g. AHPRA), and have membership with their professional bodies (OT Australia, Speech Pathology Australia or the Australian Physiotherapy Association, as relevant). All therapists have current Working with Children Checks (Blue Cards) and current NDIS Worker Screening.
