Allied Health Assistants

Supporting families with specialist care.

How can an Allied Health Assistant (AHA) help?

Allied Health Assistants may be involved with delivering a specific therapy program set by your main therapist. These often occur in the home, school or daycare environment. These sessions are often used when a lot of repetition of a specific type of task or activity is required.

What does an AHA

session look like?

The session with an AHA will look like a therapy session, but the program has been designed by the key allied health member/therapist. Please refer to each discipline – occupational therapy, speech pathology and physiotherapy for further information on what it may look like.

Who are our team Allied Health Assistants?

All our Allied Health Assistants have a passion for working with children, and previous experience working with children. They all hold current Working with Children (Blue) Cards, and a current NDIS Worker Screening.  Each allied health assistant has additional specific training and supervision with the therapists that they are working under.
